Last summer I was all about high waisted shorts and muscle tees. This summer, I'm in the mood for comfy pieces that function as both casual and formal, stacking minimalistic jewelry, and overalls. Yeah, you read that right. Overalls.
A loose, flowy dress. Mine is from Urban Outfitters.
An oversized button down. Got this beauty at Aritzia.
A pair of overalls. Best not to spend a lot on a fad, went for F21.
A comfy, versatile romper. Fell in love with this one from Aritzia.
Birkenstocks. Went for the originals from Birkenstock, but there are a ton of cheaper options.
Simple jewelry, multiplied. The triangle necklace and the arrow one are from Francesca's, the shark tooth necklace is from F21, and my rings are a lovely set from Free People mixed in with some old/vintage ones.
This may be a groufit, but I think it looks cool. The romper feels like pajamas, but makes it look like you tried about 100 times harder. I love how it looks with the bronze-y/gold of the jewelry.
Overalls are definitely back in, and I am all for it. I love the unique touch of the buttons down the center. A striped tee adds a laid-back, but not farmer-esque feel, and you can find a similar one to mine here or here. My Francesca's sunglasses make it a little trendier, and there's just something I love about socks and sandals. Call me dorky, but I don't care. Find mine at F21.
